SAMO is an all-day lifestyle restaurant housed within Splash + boutique, offering Cyprus' first in-store dining experience. The restaurant takes its name from the Brooklyn-born artist Jean Michel Basquiat, who used the graffiti tag SAMO on the streets of late 1970s New York City. Basquiat's genre-recking work has inspired the creation of an inclusive space that defies boundaries and expectations, juxtaposing food, fashion, music, and art. SAMO seeks to emulate Basquiat’s cool celebrity sparkle, and, like its namesake, allure everyone – young and old, food enthusiasts, fashion devotees, urbanites and visitors.
The menu is inspired by Mediterranean staple foods, incorporating influences from all around the world. The cuisine straddles both traditional and modern flavours achieved through the use of outstanding produce to capture ingredients at their peak. The result is creative dishes that find the perfect balance between simplicity and deliciousness and are enriched by a true passion for exceptional service, comfort and relaxation.
